www.entitledto.com has a calculator to check what you could claim.
HM Revenue and Customs (www.hmrc.gov.uk) has a section on Tax Credits and on Child Benefit.
If your income is less than £16,000 a year and you are struggling with overpayments of tax credit try www.taxaid.org.uk.
