About the trainers
Robert Johnson, Head of Training
My
Citizens Advice career began in 1991 as a volunteer at Lowestoft
CAB and I soon moved into Money Advice. Over the years since I
have worked at Great Yarmouth CAB, Norfolk Money Advice and
Norwich CAB.
When I joined the CAB I was already experienced as a referee trainer with the Football Association and they set my standards as theirs are set, very high. I also studied for the Certificate in Training & Development.
For several years I have been a tutor for the Money Advice Trust and, since September 2006, heavily involved in training the FiF Money Advice caseworkers, being brought on-stream nationally, funded by the DTI.
I believe in utilising technology for training and our new training facility is at the cutting edge as a training provision. It is my intention to offer high quality training for any agencies or individuals, locally and nationally, by providing focused bespoke courses as per the demands of a highly specialised advice-giving industry.
