There are currently no paid positions available at Cambridge CAB but we are always on the lookout for volunteers to train as advisers or to help with administration, IT support, database administration or fundraising.
A record of voluntary work can be very useful in the search for paid employment. It provides experience and shows commitment. In fact, many of the people in paid posts within the CAB service started off as volunteer advisers.

At present we are seeking a Volunteer Fundraiser.
Cambridge CAB is a charity and constantly needs to raise funds
to keep services open and also to develop additional services to
make advice accessible to more people.
If you have experience in fundraising in any of the following
areas we would love to hear from you...
- Writing grant applications to charitable trusts
- Writing applications to statutory agencies such as the Regional development agency, EU etc.
- Fundraising through events
- Setting up legacy giving
- Fundraising through individuals and/or companies
- Any other fundraising experience.
