ProjectsAdvice Hub Project
It involves working with other agencies, which would be housed in one building, in order to provide, as far as possible, a 'one-stop-shop' for advice in the Cambridge area. The Income Maximisation Project was started in February 2005, following a successful bid to Cambridgeshire County Council.
Funding was initially for one year but has continued because the campaign has been very successful. Just over £2m of new benefit claims were met in the first ten months and the project has gone from strength to strength ever since.
