Stonewall's new freephone line
Stonewall has launched a new freephone number to provide
information to lesbian, gay and bisexual people about their
rights.
The service is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and can provide
information and further referrals on a wide range of topics
including education, employment, parenting, housing and crime.
Lesbian and gay people, as well as employers, healthcare
professionals, and advisers, can also contact Stonewall via
email or use an online information service. The new line is open
from Monday to Friday 9.30 am to 5.30pm.
The Big Lottery funding is for England only. However, Stonewall
will not turn away any enquiries it receives from Wales.
