MPs investigate domestic abuse        Domestic Violence eConsultation logo

Have you suffered physical, emotional, psychological or sexual abuse by a partner or close family member?

Have you been forced to marry against your wishes or been the victim of honour-based violence?

Then join in the Home Affairs Select Committee e-Consultation at:
http://forums.parliament.uk/dvec

Parliament's Home Affairs Select Committee is holding the e-consultation as part of its investigation into domestic violence, including forced marriages and 'honour-based' violence.
The committee wants to hear from victims and survivors about your experiences, to help improve services. What you tell them will form part of their recommendations to the Government.

Keeping you safe online

The committee knows how important it is to protect your identity. You will not be asked for any personal details or be contacted. You will have an anonymous username and password, all postings will be checked by moderators and any personal information removed. No abusive or threatening postings will be allowed.

Get on-line free at your local library, some schools/colleges and community centres.
In Cambridge? Try the free web access and e-mail points that are dotted around the city. These are provided by Cambridge Online.

If you are being abused

Contact the National Domestic Violence Helpline, which is run, in partnership, by Women's Aid and Refuge (free-phone, 24 hours) on 0808 2000 247.
