Cambridge CAB 70 years old

70 years of life changing advice - logo

Cambridge CAB will be celebrating its 70th Birthday in September and is looking for anyone with memories/connections over the last 7 decades to get in touch.

They will be collating a history of the organisation but it is always interesting to have recollections from real people – volunteers, staff and clients.

The Citizens Advice service is an independent charitable organisation that helps people resolve their money, legal and other problems by providing information and advice and by influencing policymakers to make changes to unfair policies and practices. The advice provided by the Citizens Advice service is free, independent, confidential and impartial, and available to anyone regardless of race, sex, disability or nationality. In the year 2008/2009, Cambridge CAB dealt with approximately 40,000 enquiries from clients.
