    Press Releases

    Cambridge CAB,  19 December 2006

CAB – your local charity!man saying "CAB helped me. Can you help them?"

Cambridge and District Citizens Advice Bureau amazed several people at its Grafton Centre display stand recently! Unaware that CAB is a charity, they were surprised to see volunteers collecting money from generous shoppers.

Cambridge and District CAB is an independent, local charity staffed mainly by volunteers and relies heavily on the support of individuals and local businesses.  It is dependent on donations to enable it to provide an invaluable, free service to those in need of confidential and impartial advice which may relate to breakdown in family relationships, employment problems, housing difficulties or issues requiring specialist advice.

If anyone has a problem and needs advice please contact the advice line 0844 8487979.

If you would like information about how you can help, either financially or by volunteering, please contact:

Cambridge and District Citizens Advice Bureau,

    72-74 Newmarket Road, Cambridge CB5 8DZ

    Tel:  Admin on 01223 222660.

Look out for posters and collection boxes in your local pub!
