Volunteers' Week June 1 - 7

Are you a good listener?

Do you want to help people in your community overcome the problems they face?

Would you like a volunteer role where you will always be learning something new?

If so, join our friendly, supportive team as a Volunteer.

At Citizens Advice there are 22,000 highly trained volunteers who are invaluable to delivering our service and helping people find a way forward with the problems they face, campaigning for changes to unfair policies and practices, and supporting witnesses in court.

Graham, a Volunteer Adviser at Cambridge & District Citizens Advice, says:

“Being a volunteer adviser is a thoroughly rewarding experience. I am always learning more about housing, welfare, employment and a whole range of topics. I am very well supported by the permanent staff and feel part of a great team. It’s a good feeling to help people overcome problems they are facing, which can have a significant impact on their lives.”
